  • Please advise our staff if you are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant.

  • Let us know about any allergies or disorders that may affect your examination. 

  • Advise if you are on any medication that may be relevant to your examination, for example diabetes or blood thinning medication.

When you make a booking we will advise you whether there is any specific preparation (e.g fasting) required for your scan.  It’s important that you adhere to this advice.




  • Please bring Medicare, Pension, Healthcare or DVA cards to all appointments.

  • Referrals are legal documents and are required for every scan. If you arrive without this, we will not be able to continue with the appointment until we have the referral.

  • Bring all previous imaging and reports of scans for comparison purposes, or let staff know when booking the appointment where you had previous imaging, so we can have this ready for your appointment.

  • If this appointment is under workers compensation, third party or any kind of insurance, please be sure to let staff know and provide any information you have regarding the claim. 



  • It is recommended you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure your paperwork is processed and confirmed before your examination. Please note - different examinations may have different waiting periods, and it's possible that a patient who arrives after you may be seen before you
